Description
Our father was fascinated by tales of great herds of longhorn cattle being driven from Texas across the Great Plains to Kansas and Nebraska. So he chose to portray the great beauty of a herd of these longhorns seen against a sweeping landscape with one of the cowboys moving them along. This mural was commissioned for the Ogallala, Nebraska Post Office.
